Silk-Screened Darning Embroidery Pattern

Description

This limited edition pattern is part of the 2020 Miniature Rhino Pattern Club using upcycled materials. I have small collection of reprints. Once these are gone they are gone. My original pattern, Darning, has been silk screened onto upcycled materials sourced from a textile recycler.

Super fun one to stitch up! Use the running stitch or whip stitch for this pattern. There’s no one right way to make these samplers. Each invites you to explore your own creativity. 

To complete the pattern you will need scissors, sashiko needles (embroidery needles work too), three skeins of sashiko thread or any thread of your choice.  Make it a Kit & add these to your sampler. 

DETAILS:
+ One 15 x 15″ sampler
+ Choose: gray chambray or olive woven 
+ Silkscreened (permanent ink) 

MAKE IT A KIT:
+ add sashiko needles 
+ add three skeins of Cream or Navy sashiko thread
